Introduction

IRESS provides web service access to various market data, order, and portfolio systems. Clients can integrate IRESS systems into their own SOA solutions.

Versions

IRESS has developed multiple versions of web services.

Web Services 4.0

This is the latest generation of web service interface, for accessing the newest IRESS systems. This version is an Document/Literal style web service, designed for the modern SOAP toolkits, such as .NET and Java 6.

This version has the most coverage of systems. It's an RPC/Encoded style web service, compatible with older SOAP toolkits.
